What can you browse before you sign up?

Before you create an account, Scout shows a small public sample: the name of a college, program, or opportunity, where it is, what type it is, and the season applications usually fall in. Costs, test ranges, eligibility, and application links are not on these pages. The homepage also answers a few sample questions, then asks you to sign up.

What the sample includes

You can read the guides, open any public card, and ask the homepage preview a handful of questions. The preview repeats these pages. It does not search the full catalog and it does not write essays.

What the account is for

An account is where Scout matches colleges, programs, and opportunities to your interests and keeps deadlines, drafts, and next steps. The public pages exist so you, and search engines, can see the shape of that help before you join.
