Basis Independent Fremont

Eleventh grade

A student at Basis Independent Fremont, Ankith is an engineer and entrepreneur who builds systems—both mechanical and organizational. While his technical work focuses on robotics, electrical engineering, and the deep patience required to bring hardware to life, he is equally focused on the mechanics of business: leadership, strategy, and execution.

He actively practices these principles as a Director and Secretary of CAMYL and a Director of TEENSS. Rather than just holding titles, Ankith uses his roles in these community outreach and youth development organizations to actively support his community and mentor others. His passion for helping people grow is the direct catalyst behind his latest venture, apprentice-app.com, a platform he built specifically to support other kids and scale the impact of his youth development work. For Ankith, business is about taking on real responsibility, showing up prepared, and building tools that make a difference.

Basis Independent Fremont

Eleventh grade

A student at Basis Independent Fremont, Madhav treats the pursuit of medicine and the drive of a founder as fundamentally linked. His core passion lies in biology—understanding how living systems work and what it takes to be genuinely useful to people in need.

He applies that same systematic approach to building organizations. As Regional Vice President for Northern California at International Youth Tobacco Control, Madhav isn't just advocating; he is running the business of a mission. From managing teams and planning regional events to translating public health goals into actionable campaigns, he knows how to align people around a common purpose. This deep involvement in youth leadership sparked his transition into tech entrepreneurship. He helped build apprentice-app.com to scale the exact work he does offline—creating a digital ecosystem to empower other young leaders, streamline their missions, and give them the tools to mobilize their communities effectively.
